It is a luxury collection hotel by Starwood. This historical hotel dates back to the 19th century and was renovated in 2006, retaining the original character of the hotel. Providing the best in modern facilities, it is fully air-conditioned and offers a lobby with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom, lift access, a shop, as well as bar, dining and conference facilities. 24-hour room service is offered, as is laundry service. Internet access (including WLAN) and parking facilities are also available for a fee.

Remark

The hotel was voted ""Best Hotel in Europe"" by Global Traveller readers 2006. It also had ""Gold List"" membership with Condé Nast Traveler in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Travel+Leisure magazine selected it as one of the best 100 hotels in the world in 2006.

How To Go

Coming from the north take motorway 3, which becomes Mannerheimintie Street, turn left onto Etelaesplanadi Street and turn left again onto Fabianinkatu Street. Turn left onto Pohjoisesplanadi Street. Coming from the east, take motorway 170, turning left onto Sörnäisten Rantatie Street. This becomes Pohjoisranta Street and then further on Pohjoisesplanadi Street. From the West, take motorway 1, following the signs for ""Centrum"" and then turn onto Mannerheimintie Street. Turn left onto Etelaesplanadi Street, and then left again onto Fabianinkatu Street. Then finally turn left onto Pohjoisesplanadi Street.
